According to the artist the series represents that point in life when you realizes that, what you always thought of as home is no longer your home. There is a break with the past that cannot be recovered… (by David carmack Lewis)
I love this piece and what it represents. It encompasses a feeling that I confronted years ago. In fact, I remember that it was in 2004 that I brushed against this feeling, and it was quite heavy. Shortly, my attitude changed and that attitude is hard to put directly into words, but it’s definitely not a negative feeling. I guess, the point is this: Losing your thought of home can be an amazingly positive change in your life.
